It Was Working

Well, got it all installed and tested - just waiting for phone company to put in its dedicated line - and in the two days we waited - it stopped working. We even purchased the liscense just before it was meant to be going live.

 

We are pulling our hair out! You call the temporary number and it answers and just stays silent.

 

I have changed the modem, tried different scripts, reinstalled the software and absolutely nothing.

 

The modems are supported (Zoom 3025C and the exact same Hayes version).

The modem's TAPI drivers are returning an error when a command is issued to it to answer the call in Voice mode:

165450.16 1 tapi Reply (LineEvReply) err 66303 LINEERR_OPERATIONFAILED [80000048]

Have you tried re-installing the modems?

 

That's the trouble with using modems, often they have all sorts of problems and their drivers are not usually very well tested for 'voice' functionality...

 

Most often it's best to just get a Dialogic card....
